My son noticed the cigarette lighter was not working in my car so he thought it was a fuse so he went under the bonnet and pulled some fuses out to check them now the car will not tick over and fault reading Epc go to workshop any one got any ideas ?

Personally I think your son must of had the ignition turned on with some of the fuses removed at some point, if this is the case the car will have to linked to a code reader of some sort to clear the fault.
When the ignition is turned on, the computers of the car run self diagnostics on certain circuits and functions of the car fuse being out the computer never saw it hence the warning light.
