W220 Error msg: Display Defective & Wipers are not working PLEASE HELP!!

Hi All,

My X Reg W220 S500 is acting up. On damp mornings I am getting a "Display Defective" message and my wipers don't work. I've been to MB twice and they cannot find the problem. They reset the system and all is well until it is either cold in the morning or when it is raining......when it's dry outside there are no errors and the wipers work!

Can somebody please help me with this, driving in the rain with no wipers is a nightmare!!

Hello and welcome to the forum,, If someting on the car is not found,ie wipers and cluster this would I feel be a fault on one of the SAMs possibly some corrosion between the pins like on my SL

I will take a look and see if they are all on the same SAM on your car
