W220 S320 CDi COMAND Unit Keeps Rebooting

Occasionally when I start my car, a 2005 S320 salooon, it reformats the COMAND system and states that it has been corrupted. Is there a fix for this that does not require the replacement of the COMAND unit?

Does it only happen when you start the car i.e. it does not reboot when driving...?

It happens when I start the car (turn on the ignition).

I am able to source a second-hand COMAND unit for the make and model of my Mercedes S320 W220 (2005). Can anyone confirm that the flash file shown in the above message is contained within the COMAND unit and therefore a replacement has the potential to fix the problem?
