W220 S320CDi gearbox I think

As above s320 feels like its driving over rumble strips, usually on acceleration and more obvious whilst going up hill, could this be the glycol issue?

The 220 did not have the fault though any rad could leak.


The symptoms of glycol are " a humming or droning when pulling lightly in top at engine RPM of between 1400 and 2500 rpm "

No im not, couldnt get the glove box open so gave it a thump and it opened so thats that sorted.

Star ddint find anything wrong with the 220 but the chap has a fleet of 11 mercs and in the last few weeks all odd noises have been down to cheap tyres!!!! and me thinks this could be another one.

The SL that came in today with a failed shock top which dented the bonnet has been easy so thankfully today hasnt been a complete pain.
