    Hi All

I have been using Viseeo MBU-3000 on several W220 models up to now (albeit max age MY2002)
Up to now, I have simply put in the MBU-3000 puck and it has been recognised, (or in worst case, I needed to change the cradle and the telephone module to suit the puck) -
But now, having tested 2 MBU-3000 in the new car (MY2003 W220 S55K - delivery date 1st October 2003) it is just not being recognised. (i've tried the different dipswitch / jumper combinations on the back of the phone also)
The existing phone - Nokia 6310i is working ok - so I am wondering if I have a different system on this facelift car..
Photos below to show cradle, curly cable etc, and the cradle code is A2208201251 -

Any input from those who know about these things.?

Looks like the Sim Card is not being recognised as shown on both Comand screen and the Nokia phone.

Can you try to pair a different phone to see if that works or insert a different sim card into the phone you want to pair (Nokia?)

The existing phone doesn't have a sim card in it (I could put one it and it would work fine though)- I am not looking to use the Nokia - but instead replace it with the MBU-3000 viseeo bluetooth puck

The MBU-3000 should certainly work with that cradle. I have the same one.

What happens if you insert the Viseeo unit in the car, turn on bluetooth on your Android phone and press the bluetooth button on the Visseo?
Your phone should search for and recognise the Viseeo and pair with it after entering the code. (I forget the code but 0000 or 1234 usually works.)

Thank you so much! I had only gone as far as putting in the Viseeo into the cradle, and expecting it to show on the screen - (and I have now established that I have one MBU-3000 which is faulty, and the one from my wifes car (which I was reluctant to pair with to avoid making my phone the primary connection) did indeed work when I paired to it - Once paired everything came onto the comand screen. Thanks for giving me the info about yours working - It was the kick I needed to persevere.

Yes,. thank you - Just need to find another (working) MBU-3000 - I am not sure what is wrong with the 2nd one I have - It shows up on my Iphone to pair with, but will not accept a pairing (I do not even get to be asked to enter a pairing code) - I am trying to see if I can update the bluetooth data on the viseeo, but finding it hard to find the update files online.

Plot thickens - I can connect an Iphone 6 to the "faulty" MBU-3000, but not an Iphone X, though I can connect the Iphone X on the other "working" MBU-3000 - I think I will write to Viseeo to see if the bluetooth firmware can be updated (not just the CPU firmware)

It's also worth asking comand.co.uk as they may be able to update it for you.

maybe on an earlier one..... lots of Bluetooth devices got updates in 2012 as some standardisation work happened to gain more compatibility

Ok - I may need to do a master reset on the Viseeo - but I do not have the instruction manual any more, and for the life of me I cannot find it online. Does anyone have one to hand to check the process for a master reset>?
    Many thanks

solved my issue now - Following a CPU upgrade on the Viseeo, it is necessary to do a master reset (this is done by holding down the "SYNC" button for about 5 seconds, and then without releasing, pressing the power (reset) button and releasing both at the same time. You will know when you have done this correctly as the unit goes into pairing mode without pressing the pairing button - Iphone X then connected no problem - Phew!
