Is there a way to change bulbs on a w221 cdi without removing front bumper, I read somewhere that it’s possible if you remove the washer bottle? Is this easier than the bumper? Sounds it to me, is there a how to anywhere?

Thanks

Yes it is possible, i replaced my left front dipped beam bulb 3 weeks ago, H7 bulb. it is tight and fiddly but achievable. remove rubber cover from back of headlight to do this rotate it maybe 1/3. use mobile phone with flash to take a few pics of the inside. this will help you familiarize yourself with the position your looking to achieve when you're finished. The bulb is in bulb carrier, this rotates again 1/3 turn i think not sure which direction. the bulb holder, bulb and wiring can then be slide backward out of the light housing. the bulb just pulls out of the bulb holder. re assay is the reverse. RH one i'm not sure, i assume once you have access its the same.

Hi,

Thanks for this, I have managed to make progress with these instructions but I am experiencing troubles with the final step. I'm not sure how to get the bulb out of the bulb holder. Please see attached image of bulb inside bulb holder and the direction that I am trying to pull it from (seems illogical but I cant get to the other side without dissembling it further)

Thank you IMG_20200630_141608__01.jpg
