W246 Auto 'stall'

Every now and again my 2018 B200d auto almost stalls when moving off from a standing start. All weathers, engine warm or cold. The car starts to move then the revs drop, the car all but stops, then the engine picks up as it should and away I go. Scary for the driver behind.

Ideas as to what the problem might be?
