Hi all.
I have a handbrake problem on my 08 Vito w639.
I have had the handbrake / cables replaced not long ago and all is tight and as it should be when using it. The problem I seem to have is internal under the cab, the cable connection from the release handle and the pedal to apply the parking brake. I have had a close look and there is a white latch that doesn’t move too good. When I move this manually on the actual brake pedal unit I can then press the foot pedal parking brake down and it clicks and holds fine, I can then release it by pulling the hand brake release but every time this small white part/latch is sticking. I am trying to loosen it with degreaser but it doesn’t seem to change anything. Has anyone had this problem before? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Andy
