Nearly 2 weeks ago Mercedes came out to look at my sprinter van and it seems as if I need a new starter motor. However, they contacted me a couple of days later to say that they were waiting for one to come in. I still haven't heard anything yet, therefore, does anyone know starter motors are unavailable at the moment? Maybe somebody else is waiting the same as I am.
By the time I paid my bill which will include the first call out and then a second call out to fit the starter motor including paying for the starter motor the bill is going to come to £747.

Yeah, I must admit I was quite surprised £747. The starter motor £300 according to Mercedes. I'm wondering whether to get one off the guy on here and get my local garage to come out and replace it. Mind you, I'm sick of waiting for Mercedes, it's been two weeks now and I have not heard anything from them
