Hi, Can anyone help regarding the engine diagnosis indicator lamp showing on instrument cluster? Model c320 year 2001. Engine is running smooth, no noise or loss of power.

Thanks

Is this doing it every start, even when doing a warm start

Sorry Malcolm, to clarify have only restarted engine when warm. Have not left it to cool.

Is it worth cleaning the MAF? Had a read at the 'Parrot of Doom' posting.

No not really, if it was the MAF the car would not drive good.

Black is more than likely spot on with the O2 sensor

Its only a matter of get the code read out, use an indie for half the price.

This being the O2 sensor and it must be, all it means is that your fuel mixture has deviated slightly from the stored setting
