Warning lights on Mercedes A Class 170

Hi new to the site,

I have a 9 year old Mercedes A Class 170cdi, had some problmes recently and really want to know if anyone knows what the problems are and how much roughly are we talking to get fixed at a local garage (Not MB)

1. SRS light came on about a week ago and wont go off.

2. This morning my ABS / Bas Esp light has come on and wont go off.

3. When i open my doors with the lights on there is no beeping noise to remind me my lights are on.

4. will the instrument panel tell me when i need new brake pads?

5. I tried to get my Air Con recharged but was told that there is a leak in the air con system.

I have had the car for about 1 year now and the problems have just started,

any advice would be very helpfull!

You really need that on a star machine, they dont sound like there connected them faults, cheapest first step with a A,class!!

Most indis, such as myself have these "star" machines!!
