warning lights??

Hi all,Today i have fitted some 17" alloys to my 1999 vito but now as sonn as i reach 55 mph the ets warning light starts flashing.If i reduce speed to 50 mph it stops but if i continue over 55 mph the abs,ets and ebv lights all come on and stay on until the engine is turned off.Has anyone got any idea whats going on?

The off sets could be to far out, double check by re-fitting the old wheels.

Thanks for the reply.According to mb its a wheel sensor thats picking something up.These wheels were on a vito before with no problems and the only difference is that at the moment i've only got the standard bolts in as i'm waiting for the alloy ones in the post.Could this cause a problem?

Andy,

Am I reading this right - you have used the steel wheel bolts to fit the alloys on? If so, don't drive it as the steel wheel bolts are too short for the alloy wheels! The sensors are obviously picking up a serious instability. There is a danger that any or all of the wheels may fall off with lethal consequences maybe not to you but other road users.
