hI guys,
was wondering if anyone can shed any light on my W211 2005 E320 CDI,
I have noticed that that passenger footwell is wet underneath the car mat.
What could it be?
Thanks

Find the 2 pipes 20 in the link and poke a wire down them to make sure that they are clear and not blocked.

Un clip the lid of the filter box in the corner in front of the wind screen and see if the filter inside is wet

I will print off the filter box details so you can see if it is wet inside

re : more help needed

Thanks for your reply,
Is the filter box you mention in the corner of the right hand side of the engine bay looking from the front>
the pipes (20) are these in the car or in the engine bay?

re : water in footwell

Thanks for your email Malcolm, i am now confident to take the filter housing apart !! I will replace the filter when i do this, if like you said the filter is wet, what else do i need to do around the housing/ drain plugs etc.
As ever grateful for any info given.

Jack
