It does happen when they are getting on a bit, the joint between the lense and base leaks, or the bulb holder has pulled out or the 'O' ring has split as it had on mine. Push the unit towards the rear of car the unit can then be eased out of its location, twist the bulb holder to remove, you might then be able to dry it out however they are inexpensive around £10/15 the pair - so that inmo is the best solution.

Hi,
Are you talking about the side repeaters?
Buy new, they are very cheay if IIRC about £2.50ea from ECP and about a fiver from MB, If you dry them out whats going to stop them from getting water in them again.

S class
ECP = Euro Car Parts...also if lots of water you could drill a small hole just behind the lens.. then reseal it when you find the leak..

Remove the lens and empty any water out and sit on a house radiator overnight.
