Water Leak

Hi, Sorry to bother you with what may be a silly question. I have a 04 C180K. It was parked on my drive all day, and not driven. About 1800hrs, I noticed a small amount of water dripping down from teh car, just where the front passenger door is. I looked underneath the car and could see droplets of water coming from the the bodywork, but have no idea where its from. The radiator is fine, the air con seems fine. Any one have any ideas where it's coming from, as I am at a loss?

Does your car have a sunroof, has it rained or been washed recently?

You could have blocked sunroof drains. They have exits underneath the car at the below the A and C pillars I believe.

No sunroof, and it was really hot yesterday. WHich is why it confused me somewhat. Its very strange.
Also worth noting. I stuck my finger where the leak was coming from, and it got covered with mud and gunk. At this point I become very concerned!!

Any chance it could be your windscreen washer bottle leaking or associated tubing?
Put a tray underneath to capture and record the amounts you are loosing.

Try pouring small amounts of water from plastic bottle or similar in and near suspected areas to ascertain whether the water drip accelerates. Do not spray on electricals.
