Hello All,

Hope someone can help me from there past experience, I have 2001 CLK 230 elegence and only noticed today that there is some water leak on pessanger side. I have also noticed some dampness smell when i first get in to the car.

Is there any common place where this could be leaking from? in my previous car i had similiar issue where i had to do so many things to troubleshoot only to find out that water is coming from the wastage pipe from sunroof.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Regards
Amrit

Thanks for the reply, Is this the under the Air con Box? i have checked that there arent any major leafs etc. also i took the floor Matt out and found the foam underneath it fully soaked in water. I have left this outside for now so that i can notice any future leaking and to dry off the floor and wiring under it.

I am very confused as to where and who would know about it. It was ok till now when i didnt know about the leak but now that i noticed it, its worrying me. I have tried to pour loads of water on the windscreen but nothing came through now. Its quiet possible that i need to take all the panels out to see the leak.

Anyone else had the same issue?

Regards
Amo

I thought this forum is helpful, but none has replied to my thread.

I have found the problem and sorted it. just incase someone else has a problem its the windscreen fitting at the top which connects to the roof lining. Water was going from the side of the windscreen to inside behind the glove compartment

Thanks anyone who looked at the post
