Hi all,
I am also a new member, I have had my W208 CLK convertible for 4 years and love it. It has always had a drip when it rains from above the passenger seat where the window meets the roof rubber. I have had the water from the heater motor after a car wash but sorted that one.
Television,
Could you please send me the fix for the dripping above the passenger window please.

I think Televison has been banned from the forums.

Good to hear.

Clearly I was misinformed :(

Do you still have the water leak info please (see my post 11-05-2014 above).

Many thanks if this is available.

Its quite a good system on your car with just 5 as the drain in front of the screen.

Heater box drain is 545 and comes out somewhere under the car around the bulkhead

not being great at reading those graphics TV, tonight I tried to trace what I thought was a drain hole down the r/h side of the engine bay next to some kinda 'aircon box' (I have pics, but don't know how to upload) I then removed the plastic inner arch covering in the N/S front wheel arch.
once I had this out I could view 2 holes which were filled by circular rubber coverings (again pics if I can upload). I removed these and cleared out a few handfuls of gunk from the whole area, mainly just what appeared to be dirt/road debris. stretching deeper into the wheel arch I pulled out a rubbery foam padding and again cleared some more dirt debris. from this tracing along the underside of the outer body sill I found 2 more 'drain holes' underneath the side jacking points, both appeared to be clear.
are these the correct (and only) drain holes I am looking for? as I will be tackling the drivers side tomorrow night for good measure.
also, as an after thought could I run a hose along these holes now to be sure everything is flowing and draining correctly giving me piece of mind??

hope that all made some kinda sense! thanks in advance...

2003 CLK240 convertible roof leak.

Hi,

I'm not sure what model my car is (W208/209), just that it is a 2003 CLK 240 convertible. Anyway, I have a leak from on the drivers side where the window meets the rook. The seals look ok but during heavy or prolonged rain it leaks. It doesn't leak when it is sat still on the drive.

Could someone send my a copy of a trouble shooter document I read of earlier in this thread. Thanks.

2000 CLK320 Coupe
Hello all, I have a 2000 CLK320 Coupe and I am having an issue with water in the front driver floorpan. I haven't checked the passenger side. I saw on here a few different threads before I registered and now I cant find them. A body shop told me it was most likely the sunroof drains blocked but I don't think so, I think the fresh air intake drains may be clogged (water buckets). I think I saw there is one on each side and one under the wiper. can anyone help me with this and maybe the process to remove the carpet and that thick foam that's soaked? Thanks all :)
