Hi all,
I,ve got a C180 .late 96.The radiator water low level indication remains on after starting. The water level is always OK when I check it.I,ve replaced the level sensor but still have the same problem.

Anyone any ideas???

light on

Hi

I know this sounds very silly but trust me. Change the washer bottle level sensor, Yes I did mean washer bottle . For some strange reason MB wired them in series and a fault on either one puts the coolant warning light on

PM, Piestore is spot on. I had a similar prob about 6 months ago. Changed the water level sensor but light still remain on. Then while cleaning the engine, butter fingers me somehow damaged the sensor from the washer bottle (don't ask me how). However after changing that sensor..voila! warning light dissappeared for good.
