Guys,
need some really sound advice on this.

All of a sudden I have discovered yesterday evening that there is a "puddle" of sorts on the near side front passeger side footwell. Have no idea where this water has come from (ok it rained like mad yesterday here in Swansea). Having looked at the at the windscreen, door fittings, trim and glass on the car, all are sound, where on earth is this coming from?

Any tips would be a really appreciated.

PS. Someone mentioned removing the lower dash panel on fron passenger side, and there is a drain unit for the heater blower?

Your drains are blocked.

Open bonnet up to vertical, locate drains at each side of the car behind the firewall.

They will be blocked with leaves and rotting leaf debris you need to clear each side and test by pouring a jug of water down each - which should immediately gush out under the car.

Lifted up the bonnet, and facing the engine, right hand side, looked behind the firewall, and low and behold, leaves, twigs, basically a small compost heap, cleared as much out as possible, and then found a large hole, which is to the side and front of the gas strut for the bonnet opening.

I'll basically get the car into my garage at the weekend where it's dry, and just have a good clear out on both sides.

Question: Are there any other channells that block up, that need attention?

Thanks for the support on this board.
