water problem

first of all i would like to say hello to you guys. right i have a 1996 c230 k sport. the coolient light was on when i brought the car but had plenty of water. so changed the coolient level sender did not go out that was a month ago. this morning went out for a run and started to over heat got home toped up water. went to start it and the water keeps coming out of the overflow pipe very fast. if any one can help with thi i woul be very greatfull

Welcome to the forum, but the news is not good

The cylinder head gasket has gone, this is why is blowing the water out.

Couple of years ago when i owned a Rover 75 (o no) it cost me £550 for gasket and head skim. Not sure if this relates to MB but would have thought this would be the minimum you can expect to pay.

hi guys i have just seen something on e-bay called K-SEAL. it is ment to seal cracks in the engine. do you think it is worth ago

K seal does work on small leaks and it does not cost much to try it
