Hi All,

Slight weep on water pump on my 14 plate E250. Looking on YouTube seems something I can change myself. Anyone know what the torque specs are for the t30 bolts please? Also anything else I need to look out for.

Thanks

its a very straightforward job for the most part. the bolts on mine (OM651) were not standard torx bits. they were a 5 sided tamperproof bit with a hole in the middle. worth checking before you get too stuck in. cant remember the suggested torque for the bolts but it was not a lot. the system was a bit of a bugger to bleed after, i found it best to take it for a drive, and have some coolant handy for a top up.

depending on age and mileage of the car it may be worth doing the serpentine belt and tensioners while you're there.
