Just thought id say that since our new ECP branch has opened in Central harrow, the service we have recieved has been exemplary.
All the staff have been exceptional with their knowledge, and the delivery response times have been spot on.

So to all the guys at ECP harrow thank you for the great service and long may it continue!!!!! :D

One has opened up in Yeovil lately, I have my own parts rep there (Stuart) and as many deliveries as they can fit in until 5:30pm. I cant fault them at all. MB could learn a thing or 3 from this company.

just to add my own experiences, ive used them for various bits for years via the newcastle branch. however, not currently working in a garage (for their vans to deliver to) i decided i would try their online service.

i ordered 2x4 litre containers of castrol magnatec 10w40 on monday at approx 12.30. i had recieved an e-mail within 20 minutes confirming my order within 20 minutes, stating that my order should arrive in 2-4 working days.

Fine i thought, service can be done at the weekend.

had to go out tuesday and arrived home to find that the delivery had already been and was left with a neighbour! i was so pleased with this speedy service i managed to get my service done yesterday instead!

They are good here in Ashford to. I bought a heater fan motor and resistor pack for our R170. Both the same as genuine MB parts and saved £400 over the dealer price.

I have found EUROCARPARTS absolutely dire when it comes to Ordering online....Twice now I have failed to receive delivery of parts I have ordered on line. Trying to get hold of them on the Customer Service number is an absolute nightmare half the time it just rings and rings nobody picks up and other times you can be held 30+ mins in a queue.

Also sent a complaint via e-mail 10 days ago (thought id try a different approach) as I did not receive 4 bottles of screen wash and still no reply from them!!!
From now on I will be ordering to Depot as my local Eurocarparts are great, although when I called my local depot to say I have not received my order made online they did not want to know......They said to me online ordering for home delivery is hit and miss and nothing to do with the local Eurocarparts depot and were unwilling to help me at all.....

I will not be ordering anything from them for Home delivery again, been stung too many times

    Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for the feedback - its always nice to hear this as it shows we are doing something right, however we are not perfect, and we are always looking to improve, One of the biggest steps is by offering Forum members a DIRECT point of contact to help with any issues.

@Ginno - Out Customer service team is always growing, and currently receiving 1,500 calls per day, and 1,000 emails! - there are odd occasions during peak times when there may be a delay, however the LIVE CHAT service or myself via PM on the forums should allow you to ALWAYS get contact within 5 minutes, im really sorry if this did not happen for you.

Emails are strictly replied to within 24 hours, and if yours has been 10 days then i would take a guess that its been lost in the system.

But i'd like to stress the fact (and many members will back me up on this) that IF you have a question or issue with a new, previous and pending order - Simply drop me a PM - ANY TIME of the day, or night and I'll sort it out!

    Pat (and Kunal)

Great Thanks Pat, Its nice to know I have someone to go to should there be an Issue, Can I direct my current issue towards you? Im not having any joy getting through on the CS number I asked my local depot if they could get through for me or at least try and they said they could not get hold of anyone either, and as said no reply to my e-mail?

I really rate my Local Eurocarparts and will continue using them but if I make any online orders I think ill be safer having them delivered to depot as like the guys said there is more they can do then.

I'll seek an alternative before using ECP again.

Pat, why do ECP use Yodel? They are widely acknowledged to be the worst delivery company in existence. Please don't reply 'We have thousands of satisfied...' Just take a look on Google.

My parcel was eventually delivered by a good samaritan who's wife was bullied into signing for it by Yodel. He lives in a different road to me, over 500m away.

In the mean time, ECP were adamant I was attempting to commit fraud, because Yodel informed them the parcel was delivered to 'a neighbour'.

In desperation for the parts, I carried out a repeat order online, for collection at a branch.

When the aforementioned parcel eventually turned up, I obtained a returns number and on the advice of head office, returned it to the branch for forwarding & refund.

The not-so-helpful chap behind the counter refused to give me a receipt, and said 'If you aren't happy about not getting a receipt, take it to Wembley yourself'. I had to call head office again to obtain a receipt from the branch manager.

    My cost so far:

1 hour calling at my neighbour's homes (as advised by ECP head office)
7 phone calls to the ECP call centre where the employees appear to do all they can to prevent you talking to a manager (she's out, unavailable, it won't make any difference etc.)
2 return journeys to a branch 10 miles away
30 minutes waiting in a ECP branch taking the initial abuse from the 'no receipt, take it Wembley yourself employee' and eventually receiving a receipt for the returned parcel from the branch manager.

Not good at all for a web based mail order corporation.

Id agree with the above, when My RING digital Air compressor didnt turn up from Euro I chased it and Yodel had delivered it to a completely different address!
on the Tracking info when chasing it with Euro Car Parts all they could tell me was "You have had it sir"
I then gave up with Eurocarparts trying to explain to the Indian call centre person (On the chat/online help part of the site) because I could not get through to the call centre at any time of the day after 3 days of trying what had happened he just didnt get it!
So I chased YODEL myself spoke to 3 numpties on the phone 2 of which after me telling them they had delivered it to the incorrect address said "just one minute sir let me look into this further" and then Hung up on me....the third person I got through to a woman was excellent to be fair she tracked the driver found out where he had delivered it and sent him back there to collect it and bring it to me......3 weeks later I got my Item!! So to be fair Yodel are probably giving Eurocarparts the Bad press as they are pretty awful, saying that Euro Car Parts Customer Services and the on line help from Ramesh who I think was India/Offshore personnel where ever it is, was shocking!!
Oh and a big hint to Euro send your items signed for because it seems from my experience my friends and many others that your delivery Company are letting you down and just leaving parcels all over the place!!

*****For all of their failings they are by far the cheapest place for car parts especially when using the codes they send me and as long as I can avoid home delivery and order to local depot I will continue to use them now I have found Pat on this site Thanks Pat*******

Moral of the story here seems to be order directly from a store!!!

Perhaps you should print this feedback to the stores me and Wayne Gates use on a regular basis, feedback is good for them??

Just one thing Pat, get rid of your 330d for a proper car ;)

    Norwich store is also excellent.

The only issue we have ever had is we call up to collect and then when we pop down they have already gone out on the van, but really can't moan about a company being on the ball.

Had a squeaky front control arm the other day and it was swapped out no problem at all, just trusted that we were sure it was the new control arm.

Just out of curiosity. Would you rate the BMW higher than your merc as an all round machine???

    They are very different.

The E46 is an absolute cracker, the way it is so poised and planted is very impressive, when they say it is a drivers car they are not wrong, it is if it pivots on the rear wheels and where ever you point it it just goes, no fuss, no drama, very little if no understeer and only oversteers if provoked.

The W203 is a really nice car, very comfy, but a little wallowy. There is no where near as much control, but it make you drive in a completely different manner, I have often found myself sat at 70mph in my C Class where as in the BMW I was always wanting to go that little bit quicker.

The strange thing is between the W204 and the E90 there is less of a gap, the Merc is far more focused than the W203 and the BMW is a bit dumbed down, and the ride comfort (once you ditch runflats on the BMW) is pretty even too.

The new F30 3 series is even more comfy without loosing too much of its handling either, so will be interesting to see what Mercedes come up with next, hopefully it won't be as harsh as the new A Class.
Friend went to order a new A250cdi sport this week and said it was a real bone shaker, was expecting it to be far more comfy than his old 1 series, but instead he ordered the 125d M-Sport, said it was like an S Class in comparison.
Not what I wanted to hear as I love the look of the new A. :(

Mostly very happy with ECP here, but one niggle keeps coming back - pricing.

A customer wanter some night Breaker bulbs, which I sourced through ECP, and cost me around £20 inc vat for the pair IIRC.
My customer called by to pick them up, but was a little put out at me charging so much for them, as he told me - EURO CAR PARTS SELL THE SAME BULBS ON AMAZON, FAR CHEAPER THAN I CAN BUY THEM!!!

    Look here... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Osram-Night...F7DO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1353099145&sr=8-3

Great bulbs by the way, most find them a big improvement.
