Well.... The misses was about to set off to do the weekly shop and the car won't start. I imagine it's the battery as it hasn't had a long run out for a while and a few very short journeys. The car doesn't evennticknover but all light come on.. What's the best way to get her started as taken for a long trip to the shops. I was hoping these little trips would be enough but I guessed wrong obviously. She started fine on Saturday but I should have realised while cleaning it I had the radio on and it kept going off after 1 minute. What's the best thing to buy to keep it topped up?

Give it a good run, don’t turn on the radio, the fan, the heated seats or any other electrical load. Half an hour of good running should do it.

It will be the radio you had on that ran it down.

Wait for the day to warn up some, you 'might' be lucky and get a start.
