You would think a straightforward question but is it one of those colours that vary dependent on the light? Does anyone have an Indium Gray car with pics on the forum?

I want something different to the normal Black, Silver or White and this colour has cropped up on a car that I am going to see sometime tomorrow.

Answers on a postcard please.....

Stole this from another forum, looks nice, a Gray with a Champagne/Gold sheen, I like it!

It does look an interesting colour so I think I will make the 90 minute trek to see it. I wondered whether anyone had personal experience of the colour, I've seen plenty of conflicting web pics!

I think it’s one of those that’s better in the metal than in a picture

An old B-Class.

To be honest, it is pointless looking at a computer screen to see what a colour looks like. I do photographic printing at home with a photographic printer that prints upto A2 size. I have a colour calibrator for my monitors and use colour profiles to match my inks and papers.

There are to many variables, including the quality of your monitor and colour settings.

Unless you have a calibrated monitor and the photo you are looking at has the correct profile, it is highly unlikely that the colour will look like the real thing. Best to jump into your car and find a dealer with one in the yard.

Well I had the 90 minute trip out to see the Indium Gray Metallic car earlier today - any excuse to have lunch out somewhere different..... It's certainly a nice colour and definitely not Black / Silver or White which I have had previously on so many cars. I'll have to see what it looks like on my drive when I pick it up and bring it back to its new home next Saturday...... :)

I'm confused and not for the first time....... The X type in my signature is my trusty Jag and the Indium Gray car I looked at yesterday is yet to be announced as it won't be in my possession until next Saturday...

Though, an X Class pick up would be a nice addition..

Our BM Battery owning member is having fun, that is all. The X Class is a Nissan which is what I was referring to.

I hope your new addition is most excellent and not a Nissan or a Renault :)

Yes, I'm aware of the X Class and Navara. I'm never sure what J. Laidlaw esq. thinks - who knows with all those battery fumes wafting around his cockpit....

I'm on page 181 of the drivers manual that I downloaded > I aim to hit the ground running, well driving obviously..
