I'm not a fan of the silicone spray type cleaners, very slippery and seem attract dust.

What do others use and recommend for dash, console and door trim?

Just warm soapy water (washing up liquid) I do not like the plastic cleaners either, did my V70 on suday and it came up like new.

The big problem with plastic cleaners is that they trap any marks or stains underneath.

Not sure I'd trust that on the switch gear/COMAND face?

One uses a damp cloth, not soaking wet

I have used Autoglym's Leather Polish - which, believe it or not, gives a very nice shine on the plastic parts as well.

Cant beat baby wipes , especially for leather.

Sorry, but I have a real hatred for anything that smells of babies (Johnson baby oil/wipes/powder) :mad:

Love babies though! :razz::roll:

Warm water with a little washing up liquid, wring out the cloth and wipe and buff with a tea towel, forget the aerosols, once used the plastics never seem the same again and who wants a shiny dash, if you have leather, halfords do a good cleaner of their own brand if the leather has got grubby otherwise the warm soapy water works here as well, only use a very small quantity of soap though, couple of drops to a pint.

I normally use a damp cloth in warm soapy water to wipe away the dust. Use a paintbrush to dust around the hard to reach buttons, vents etc then use a small bit of household Mr Sheen or Pledge to finish. (And I do mean a small amount, nobody wants a super shiny dashboard) I don't waste money on any of those 'cockpit shine spays' when I have Mr Sheen under the sink!

I also use Autoglym leather cleaner and leather care cream on my car interior then bring it indoors to clean the leather sofas in the lounge!!

Why buy twice the amount of cleaning products!

pledge on the dash - works on the wood and the plastic doesn't suffer either.
whatever looks good for the leather and a general wipe over with a leather fro the rest. I never use anything on the top of the dash as I don't like it shiny.

I use the local dealer to clean the inside of my car. Every couple of weeks ask them to look at something for you and they clean the whole car, top to bottom for nothing. They're great!

I Was just wondering if anyone has ever tried using the dyes that people are seling on ebay for mercedes leather interior. I have kinda messed up the passenger seat big times cleaning the leather (orion grey) with those cleaning wipe things you get from halfords :( and was wondering if using these dyes would do some miracle!!!
