Just cleaned the 190E ready for a little trip over the hill to Malton in the morning but given up now as it's too cold for me.

Also put the battery on charge on the E Class as it's telling me that it's "partially charged".

Just tried using a Kärcher K4 pressure washer to move some of the muck off of the C270 and realised that it isn’t going to shift the greasy crap at all. Time for a full foam and suds treatment.

Did that Thursday. Yesterday was polish and sealant (finished off today) and interior & windows today. I'm lucky to have mine in my garage so once it is clean, I can do the rest at my leisure. Being white every tiny little spot shows up and after much elbow grease to remove pinprick sized tiny black dots I discovered that my clay mitt lifts them in one stroke. Next wash, I'll use the clay mitt.

Note to self, get clay mitts

As my dear departed mother said (I believe she was miss quoting Churchill) ..."Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit"

...'yet, the highest form of intelligence'...

I remember my mother quoting "sarcasm is the lowest form of wit used only by fools and idiots, however, it also shows the highest form of intelligence, because one must be very clever to use it properly"

Her other favourite was "never argue with a fool or a drunk - pointless"

Changed summer tyres under my S-class (likely not snowing any more this spring), washed my CLS (kept studded tyres, in case it will snow...)
