What piece of paper........Anyway put the wheel arch cover back on the 55, fitted the wheel and drove it out of the garage after tiding the wheel arch..........And before you ask for pictures, no, too embarrass!

Today I re-charged my air-con at ATS after I DIY changed condenser and dryer and it works...We will see for how long , as I cross threaded high side pipe on the condensor ( see earlier post #25588 in this thread ),, but it has been 3 hours since which beats my previous record with my 98 E320 where it lasted only 45 minutes ( on which I done no repairs,just re-gas ) .

Drove down to my house in Italy. 1500 faultless kms at an average of 35mpg. Aircon was perfect in 32 deg heat. For a 23 year old car, which clocked over 76,000 miles on the way down, it really is a revelation. Good posing potential amongst the Italians with the top down as well

Petrol prices I’ve recorded since early 17. The big spike is Euro pricing.

Petrol at my nearest filling station is 130.9 at the moment but 3 miles down the road its 125.9. Guess where I go!
