Talking about your glof bat or the car?Another trip to the golf course today for the 221 , different drive to yesterday so got to enjoy the handling of the big fella
You know its ok to be sociable on here and not just use it for when things go wrong palWell it's been a while since I've been on here simply because I've continued to enjoy hassle/realtively cost free motoring in my lowly SL350, touch wood long may it continue. The only fly in the ointment in 18 months was a gear changing issue that turned out to be the throttle pedal sensor but you have to buy the whole pedal.
I did however treat it to a damn good clay bar, polish and wax today, when I get bored I look through the classifieds at other cars but I still love the look of my ageing R230 so it's not going anywhere soon.
So true, I've polished the inside of my windows too. Will do outside when time & rain allow.Lots of short journeys over the weekend, threw a bucket of water over it then gave the windscreen a good clean inside and out. Very important at this time of year with the low sun to get the dust and marks off the screen.
Fun replacing the battery isn't it. Especially if it hasn't been changed before and you have to cut the carpet.New battery in the W164, old battery at 11.9V, new battery at 12.6V
Lessons learned, 019AGM batteries are expensive, and the W164 designers were having a laugh when they decided where to put the battery.
