sold my CLK320, bought an SLK 200 Hope I've done the right thing. Wanted SLK for years.

I think we are going to need more buddy , what about pics

Walked out to it, grabbed some bits out the boot and took a gratuitous beading shot, not bad to say it’s done about 1k miles since it was detailed and ceramic coated.

Picked my new (to me) c220 estate up this morning.already it's cheaper to tax and insure than my MINI Cooper S R53, in fact both the tax and insurance are cheaper than the road tax for the MINI .
Not to mention fuel economy
Looking forward to a run out tomorrow, did about 80 miles in it today and it was lovely.

My SL can do that (well apart from the 36mpg - unless on a transporter).
And I get to listen to a lovely V8 burble (or roar when the opportunity presents). I've always known why I got an SL instead of an SLK...

Yes, but the V6 sounds better as stock (against R230 SL500) and it’s always at the back of your mind how much water you’re lugging around in the boot and when you’re next big bill is coming. Great cars but not what I’d select as a daily...

Anyway - you know enough about SLs that in order for it not to leak it had to be the 129!
