Good money after bad...:p

New ones are significantly more efficient (environmentalists:rolleyes:) so more complex, will cost significantly more and be much less reliable - anyone would think it's a modern car...
I know what you mean , if I get 10 years from the next one I’ll be happy :D

Next time round we'll be going with an air source heat pump. Far more efficient than a boiler.

Took mine in to look at the injector seals. I could hear one puffing slightly. The news is 2 are leaking and so I have told 'em to do all 4. Fingers crossed that they come out all right and don't put up a fight. Didn't ask how much as its got to be done. Air con regas is also on the job sheet plus MOT as that's up start of next month. Only had it 11 months so not entirely happy especially as its only done 32,000 miles....

When I bought my CLS, it only had 40k on the clock... and one injector was.chuffing like Thomas The Tank Engine! (Not that the franchised dealer recognised it... apparently. 3 times!)

Taking the SLK away for a couple of days for the first time, so tried some small cases to see what fits, not looking forward to packing Thursday morning as despite showing herself how little we can fit compared to the 968 cab or the S204, I'll put money she'll have more than will fit below the boot separator - and I'm not loading in such a way we can't put the roof down! Almost certain to be fireworks Thursday morning when she appears with too much to fit in the car, then says we'll stop somewhere to get a bouquet of flowers to take to the friends we're staying with!

Put the summer wheels back on with my two new Nexens on the front wheels , old Goodyear’s on the back for their final summer . I’ll be checking at the end of the year to see if I get any inside edge wear on the inside of one of the rears

Here is the link. I've had more in since then :p (additional laptop bag, a couple of bottles of gin, Bosch drill & driver twin pack, volunteering H&S pack (Masks, gloves and gels) all fitted below the separator :D (Also had a 26" wheel mountain bike on the passenger seat so no speed limiter issues...)

If it's same as the one in my old CLS, I think you press and hold the eject button... but it was a while ago now! o_O
