Jumping on the good cheer wanted to share some good news too.., nothing to do with Merc... TV repair done and will be delivered on Friday... it’s only be gone since 02 January!!! No telly since last August bank holiday... have I missed anything

Yesterday, actually: tidied up all the electrics - no more wires with labels "Red Cam", "Side Cam", "Video In1", etc, etc in the glovebox - just a neatly fitted CarPlay lead; removed the 3xOBDII setup and plug the OE port back in its place; fitted a new dashcam (keeping my old and trusted, 8-yr old customised to perfection jobbie); removed all personal stuff, apart from a USB stick with my music collection ... not yet anyway. Decided to leave GPS tracker and Head Up Display in the car for the new owner to enjoy; same for OBD dongle, seeing as it works nicely with the head unit Torque Pro app.

Got DVLA email with eV948, placed an order for original number plates, should be here tomorrow.

Got four Dunlop Sportmaxx SP2 fitted today and very pleased so far.
I'm letting them bed-in for a while so higher pressures than I usually use by about 0.2 bar but already significantly less noisy than the Pirelli they replaced.
Same stretch of road, roughly the same weather, Distronic set to 30mph the noise in the car yesterday averaged 64dba. Today it averaged at 60dba so an improvement there and I might even get it less than 60 once the pressures are lowered.
The ride is certainly more soft and pliable now and accentuate the Airmatic "wafting" more.
Very happy!

Replaced the rear seal as the original was begging to crack.
Took all the side trim off to clean behind and gave the hinges a good cleaning and oiling to too.

I hope you're putting that headlining back up behind the rubber seal

That one is a Thinkware 750. Newer versions available.
It’s okay and gives info on speed cameras etc.
