Unfortunately dropped the Ml63 off at mercedes Northampton for several issues to be sorted

May be worth another look, as they can do different colours / tones on different faces, replicating (to a fair degree) the OEM look.

I think it's something like High Power Silver they use in place of a diamond-cut finish... TV Malcolm mentioned it somewhere, I'm sure.

Took my 2007 S203 220CDI in for MOT exactly a month early to preserve MOT in June, passed no problems except advisories of wear on winter tyres (which I knew abot) and which I will swap for other set of wheels with summer tyres if it ever stops raining! Not bad for an old motor with 195660 miles on the clock.

I know your pain indeed, living near the coast is lovely but not for our cars, damn seagulls everywhere using my car as target practice!! Grrrgggghhh!!! :-(

Just spent a pleasant half hour giving the exhaust back pressure sensor and the egr a quick freshen up with some carb cleaner . I do it every year so the egr always comes out easily .
No pics of the ebps but there is apparently a small hole inside that can gunge up with soot .

It's now Tuesday and am about to give it another more localised wash down. It's getting to the stage of being an every day event !!!
