I see they are a good wet weather Tyre but what is the Yellow column on the left of the label on the Tyre. Wet weather is not really an issue around here, we don’t get huge amounts of rain. That Tyre was the joint favourite for mine as my current Tyres are starting to show cracks. They are 5 years old now

If you can get them in your size, try Goodyear EfficientGrip, really impressed with them on the SLK

How do they compare noise wise on the road?

Will tell you in 2 weeks when I have done Silverstone and back, they are quieter than the RS5 on DB ratings

Drove back from Germany yesterday morning in Onusbruck filled up with shell V power 98, got into trip and checked my trip range got Mrs to take pic as driving at time, cruising at 75mph is optimal for my car, and 560 mile range is amazing, even got up to 567!! Got back home to Shoreham by Sea using 2/3rd of tank!! For a 5ltr V8 that is really good going , just goes to show if using high quality fuel can affect your mileage, when I used normal 95 octane if only available I saw a big difference in milage range

had to go out a couple of hours later after emptying it, to fill it up with food , so managed the tick over then

I have been looking around for an SLC for a couple of months now. The criteria was it had to be petrol engined, be an AMG line and have the same colour combination as my C200. One has shown up but it is a 2017 250D and only covered 16,000 miles. I am only a low mileage driver and do mainly short trips. the longest trips may only be 25/30 miles once every couple of weeks. What a shame as otherwise it's perfect. If only........just have to keep looking

I know the feeling exactly. I did mine in a slightly grander scale though. I was planning to replace all of the tyres just before winter, if I still have the car, but it will have to be four tyres and a wheel now

Put a new left front lower front arm on it, the ball joint had play. £88 for the part from GSF and £0 labor
