I think the engine rev's are quite high too as at 60mph it is reading 1950rpm and the engine does seem to rev higher than normal.
There's a possibility that the Torque Convertor isn't operating correctly as the trans seems to do all sorts of tricks, but worse of all is the horrible surging from around 20mph to 45mph and the fierce gearchange from first to second, and what feels like over revving, and slipping transmission, though once up to temperature all smoothed out. There are no faults showing either. Today after leaving my Indy the car is starting to surge a little as you slow down with the foot off the throttle. This shows up on the rev counter. I am going to book the car in and have it checked when cold so it should throw up a fault with any luck. The symptoms are pointing to a Torque convertor issue...........The car is determined to destroy my bank account in anyway it can. Maybe there is evil in its sole.................
