Date of the last oil change would be easier to guess - it’s usually within the last month!

Got it booked in for a service , part of my Audi plan . I got 2 services and an inspection for only £256 . Which I thought was tremendous value.

Just got back from Main dealer after an A service on the E350d , to keep the new approved years cover in place .
They said there was a recall job done as well , which was …
“Perform cavity preservation on rear axle carrier”(subframe ) . So this is on a 207 coupe . I had done it myself when I bought the car so they have gone over my work (they didn’t mention that I had done it) .

Hi Dean, I've been so busy with work, family stuff, and basically just trying to get ready for retirement, that I haven't had the time.
Also as I get older I am struggling to stay awake after my dinner at night, I don't get in from work until 6-15 ish and by the time I've cooked, eaten, did the dishes and prepared my sandwiches for work the next day I seem to be falling asleep almost every night. It's not unusual for me to be out for the count on my chair as early as 7-00pm and then wakening up as late as 10-00pm, although it's often just an hours nap, thank goodness.

See this getting old nonsense, I dislike it intensely, I remember when I could get by with just a couple of hours sleep a night and function perfectly, sadly that's no longer the case, I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat these days.

I am 77 had a kidney transplant 15 months ago which was only partially successful. A virus has been found in the transplanted kidney which means the kidney will only be at best about 30% efficient. As a result I sleep 8 hours every night & 2 to 4 hours every afternoon. But to receive a kidney at 76 was something I was never expecting, & it gets me off dailysis.

Well, yesterday... dropped the UnMerc Mk2 in to Dealer as it decided to flash up "Adblu System Failure' message as I was 10 mins in to my commute last Monday.

2 weeks and 1 day in to ownership. Car drove fine and I was somewhat committed to the job in hand (deadlines, colleagues, equipment, etc).

Turns out to be, apparently, "current outside expected parameters" which was further determined to be a "Distribution Module Failure".

So, a knackered pump, then, I guess.

Hopefully get it back tomorrow.

I'll be using anti-crystal gunk, but this is apparently the module that's gone u/s. It's apparently pumping adblu okay, just doesn't register that it is.

I've done it without issue on my glc 350 . You have to be careful as there's also an ad blue quality sensor that may flag up the eml , if too much is added . Hence the 125 ml bottles.

Before I drained my adblue the other day , I added a 500ml anti crystal for a couple of hours . Then with the fresh 20L I added a 125ml Wynns antI crystal

I suppose that would de scale the tank/pump etc , but not the lines and nozzle . Prevention is better than cure as they say . .

I didn’t want to run it with that lot of adblue in , I just drove a few hundred yards to stir the tank . I did clean the injector nozzle when I got the car , I’ll do it again in 6 months or so .

My Carcoon has finally died so l dragged the Opel Manta out, put a normal cover over, cut the cover up and bagged it for disposal. Now need to debag it and find the spring clamps that may still be attached!
Brakes were stuck so used my 4500lb winch off the front wheel of the scrap S40 T4 to break them free, first time the winch has been used in anger. Should be nice addition to my car trailer over the hand winch.
We had a £5 bet as to which car would move first, Volvo started to go then stood firm and the Manta rolled for the first time in a few years.
