What I did on my holidays!

We are just back from another wonderful holiday on Mallorca. Last Sunday morning whilst taking breakfast at the port in Porto Colom we watched four new MB's lined up which we couldnt quite recognise. On further investigation we found them to be Stuttgatt registered CL's. The motoring press then turned up and we found ourselves in the middle of what seemed to be a major product launch. Over the next four days we saw the cars over and over, we were passed by 8 different cars in 10 minutes on tuesday.

All the cars were German registered, all had the reg in the format S CL xxxx, which impressed at least me.

Sadly we couldnt get a test drive, perhaps the VW Golf as a hire car gave our financies away, but we could get pictures, will they believe me at work when I claim we got an upgrade on my hire car?

I know they are nice inside, what do you think about the car in genral Mark is this the shape of things to come.

We thought they looked perfect inside and out. On the move they had real presence, especially with the lights on for some strange reason!

I love big wheels and these have very BIG wheels, 285mm wide on the back from memory on the CL600. I couldnt find sensors at the front or back, anyone know how the radar works?

Is it the future.... I hope so! MrsC always manages to sum these things up well, she simply said "want one".

The radar in the front is inside the star, the rear camera is in the boot lock. They look like a 2 door CLS to me. I would have one if someone else was paying.

I have those 285's on the back of mine, cant find any for sale under £50 though

That's a weak excuse Blobcat, you cant take it with you, I always loved the comment I saw somewhere where it said the back seat is fine for taking out friends that you do not ilke much.
