I just purchased a 1984 380SE. 215K miles. What grade of unleaded gas should I use?

any unleaded but the higher the ron grade the more the power

i only speak for UK high quality fuel not that cheap crap in the USA :wink:

Definitely Super or Super Plus or whatever they call it at your filling station. 97 octane. Have a look at Brocquet Fuel catalyst. You might find it an interesting idea. if you run "normal" 95 octane unleade, don't hammer your engine, and listen for pinking under load. it's a dead giveaway that you need higher octane fuel.(or you need to adjust your ignition timing, but let's assume that's okay for now)
