Hi, I found this socket not connected near the projector lights from the front bottom of the car (W210 E230 1997 Avantgarde), so what is this for ?

What colour is the wire that it is connected to?

What size is it? (Dificult to tell from the photograph).

It looks as if it has a seal around it, which would imply that it is plugged into another connector end or some equipment.

Everything is working, lights, fog lights, washers, etc... But my is this model have parking sensors, i dont think.

The wiring loom may well have the connector,even though the option is not on the car.It would surprise me if MB custom made a wiring loom for each and every car. Got my parachute ready if/when I get shot down in flames!:lol::lol:

It looks like a washer jet pump ....do you have headlamp washers...also a 2p coin or similar in the pic would help with size /scale...

Sometimes the wiring looms contain plugs for options that may not have been added at the factory, perhaps this is the case here?

edit; I have just seen Jay has posted similar solution. I must be a slow writer, took me 3 minutes to write one line, lol

Do you have cruise control fitted? If so, this is not used. It's the connector related to the throttle idle.

logic, because my cruise control doesn't work, so where is right place to connect this ??
