what lights up? 2002 clk

hi. Silly question. Replacing bulbs on my clk. What should light up on the centre consul? Ie should the switches above the air con dials light up? The window switches? Thanks

Hello,

All lights will have small LEDs which should light up as you turn the lights on sidelight or lights. It will be quiet easy to take the switches out and then replace the LED's.

I presume you need to take the centre wood panel out to get to the switches?

Hi - Just had a look at a relatives C class estate and yes the switches should all light up.
I find it hard to believe that all 15 or more switches need new leds. Is there likely to be another problem causing this?
By the way how do you remove the switches?
I can get the walnut off by the transmission selector but I cant see how to take a switch apart?
