Had my car since June 1st..since then ive had to put 2 new tyres on the rear,replace a lamba sensor in exhaust and now its just failed its test)which the garage i bought it off sed wud pay for)on a bottom control arm and 2 front tyres(all 4 had large spilts on the inside in which i didnt see wen i looked at the car.no joy with warranty as the parts are classes as wear and tearjoys of owning a car i suppose..

It's unfortunately nearly 11 years old - W211's have a tendency to wear and split the inner edge of the tyres - traffic calming only makes it worse :(

Nah ... only the bits you've fixed are fixed.
There's plenty of surprises in store yet. Cars are like that.
But isn't it reassuring that of the twenty thousand bits that can go wrong, you have just eliminated four of them.
