I always have my CLK 320 serviced by MB. I need to top up the oil but I'm not sure which type of oil to use (mineral, semi or fully synthetic).

Would anyone happen to know what oil will have been put in the car by MB?

If you are near a Costco, Mobil 1, 229.3 & 229.5 is £23 for 4 litres.

American company. I've seen it even cheaper over there.
If I remember correctly, WalMart in Florida was selling 4 litres for $27.00
The UK is a rip off for just about everything.

There are lots of different Shell Helix's on Ebay.. all i can find is 229.1.

Will that be OK? Also should i be looking for 5w/30 or 5w/40?

Thanks
