Hi all, i have 18'' AMG 'style' wheels on my 2000 SL500 fitted with cheap tyres ! (came with the car). I've been advised by Merc and Malcolm that due to the size of the whhels and cheap tyres this is causing a drowning noise along with rough ride. Can anyone advise what size wheels/tyres are recommened for my car and also whats make of tyre to fit to give best all round wear in all weather conditions for reasonable money. I have 245/35/18 on the front and 265/30/18 on the rear. I'm fed up with the rough ride due to the size of these wheels. any idears would be appreciated. Thanks
