What spec is my Merc

Hiya all,

My car has a number of extras, but how do I know which ones?? Is it possible using the chassis number to get the original spec of the car?

I am keen to find out for example if I have proper xenon lights or if someone's just fitted xenon look bulbs in there...

It is possible to see what your car was fitted with by use of the VIN.
I believe that the Russian site has a VIN reference.

Your service book will probably state some of the fitments (mine has a blue sheet print out from the factory pasted into it).

Additionally a lot of Xenon aftermarket kits do not include the "golfball" like projector lenses used in factory fit Xenon systems.
