What to look for when buying a 2001 s500l

Hi thinking of buying a s500l 2001 63000 miles full mbsh what should i look for when purchasing

Make sure that all the electronics goodies work, they can be prodigiously expensive to fix if they don't.

Main problem I have had with the S is rust. Also check all the electrics are working as they should. There was a recall for fault with instrument cluster.
Also, after driving the S you will find it difficult to change to anything but another S.
