Also, the first three numbers of your VIN will tell you.
Then you have a W210 (Unless it’s an estate and then it’s an S210)The first 3 numbers are 210
The first 3 letters are WDB
Thanks Blobcat. Mine isn't an estate, it's just an ordinary 4 door saloon. Your right about the rust, although mine doesn't seem to be to bad, nothing at the moment that I can't sort out. Glad I checked what W my car is as I was told it was a W124, as I am trying to fine a workshop manual for this car that is stupid money and you don't have to download. It seems these are like hens teeth. Then you have a W210 (Unless it’s an estate and then it’s an S210)
A wonderful car to drive let down by serious rust...
W210 is pretty well represented here, I did well over 100K miles in my E320CDI. Absolutely loved itThanks Blobcat. Mine isn't an estate, it's just an ordinary 4 door saloon. Thanks for the pictures. The W210 is defiantly mine. The 230E was a W124 but it was called an E Class when Mercedes started to change its model designations in 1993 for the 1994 model year. The W210 E Class was launched in 1996 so it is just possible that yours was an old W124 from 1995 that was a late registration. However, if your VIN starts with 210 then it is the later E Class.
