I'm with you on the Autoglym Super resin polish. Easy to use and very good at conditioning the paintwork for subsequent waxing. For that I stick with Autoglym and use their High Definition Wax. Expensive but effective and quite long lasting.

So you have to wax it after the resin polish? I've only used the super resin polish in the past! Can you tell the difference after you use the high definition wax then?
Thanks

No, you don't have to. The SRP claims to provide protection from environmental contaminants, which is traditionally the role of the waxes.

But - yes, you can tell the difference after the HDW. The gloss is deeper and water shedding is visibly better.

Autoglym here too

A couple of times a year I use SRP followed by Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. In between times I've started using their Aquawax which leaves almost as good a finish as the EGP but doesn't need a dry car, so it's quick to apply. Very happy with Autoglym so far.

If you want the easyest result, try the new stuff from Armorall.
So easy to apply and no graft to polish up.

Collinite 915 has been my wax of choice. Very good durability. The new stuff from Meguiar's, the Ultimate range gives excellent results as well, even in direct sunlight. Carlack69 do a brilliant sealant, so easy to apply and you can even add it to the wash solution.

A friend of mine makes car polish ! Always try and get a few gallons as samples !
He sells it to the F1 teams and Ferrari UK and Aston Martin so it's got to be pretty good and for me it's free
