what wheel covers did c220 ship with ?

hi all

as winter is coming soon, i'll be swapping my summer alloys for the winter wheels probably around november timeframe., my winter wheels don't have any original mercedes plastic wheel covers, but i'm intending to buy a set from the local merc shop.

my question is, do any of you know what the original merc c220 (1995 model) wheel covers actually look like, photos ?

There were only one type of wheeltrim for the C if I remember right. Mine doesn't have alloys, just a grey plastic trim with chrome surround and a chrome star in the centre. I'll see if I can dig out a photo.

Amazing how many photos you can have without the one you want.
This was grabbed from a dvd so its a bit dodgy, but it gives the idea.

i think that's all i need to know, i'll print it off and done to the shop as soon as i have removed the rust etc and resprayed the winter wheels

i guess thats something you don't need in the UK, but we need it here in sweden (winter wheels and summer wheels, well the tires specifically)

got them today

finally got a nice contact in the local dealer, and ordered brand new hub caps from him (he works for the merc dealer in the area),

cost
132,95 GBP which was ok i think

i havnt fitted these wheels on the car yet, its still another month or so before we change over from the summer alloys to the winter wheels

these new hub caps look oh so nice and shiney
