Hope someone could clear up a query of mine, looking at a 300e with 166000 on the clock, oil press needle 1 at idle, up to approx 2 1/4 when driving, never saw it reach 3? Does look like it could do with an oil change though!
Also noticed at a steady idle, gauge fluctuates between 1 and 1.5 though engine revs remain constant. Any ideas appreciated.

An oil change could help, it could be a sender out of spec, oil filter clogged
