A loose earth?
Thats very loose. anyone do a recent repair down there
.. and Star would have had no chance, but still cost you for nowt.
Nice to se the old fashioned method still can have value.
On saying that it all looks nice and clean, so easy to work on and in. More gunge = more difficult. You enforce my view that a few hours of elbow grease and even skinned knuckles (on my older mo mo's) is worth the effort.
You did well finding that.It was on star last weekend £42 . It flagged up the passenger headlight wasnt coded in. We thought that was the issue as circuit 54 was logged which is the lighting circuit. The merc specialist scanned it today and put it down to water and sent me off to an auto electrician. He was closed today so when I got home I had a pick poke about and spotted that earth strap . I removed it fully and started the car , the faults I've been getting immediately flagged up on the dash ... 1 new battery and a star session later . Hopefully I've fixed it myself...
