Finally got around to putting on the Affalterbach AMG centre caps I bought before last Christmas.
Now they are on, I'm unsure if I prefer them to the black ones I took off.
Any views?

Old ones.

Sorry but on the black wheels I like the old ones best but imho the AMG ones would look superb on silver wheels.

Same much prefer 3 pointed star wheel centres, especially on black wheels

I think I prefer the black ones too, a bit more striking

I too prefer the black centre caps and I have them on mine, although they are a carbon effect.

^ Obvious photoshop. It's on crooked ;)

It requires 8 cylinders as well.

Removed the offending wheel centre caps. de-tarred and thoroughly cleaned the insides of the wheels and applied a coating of Bilt Hamber double speed wax. That's all the wax I have and I couldn't be ar$ed to walk to Halford's in the hope they had some dedicated wheel wax.
Also took the opportunity to wax the faces of the alloys and apply a coat of Megs Tyre Gel. Run out of that now so that's two items needed. Now back to OEM look in below photo.
Just about to put the Affalterbach caps in the classifieds if anyone is interested in buying them. If not its on to eBay. 20210228_150414[1].jpg

Right decision - I think the 3-pointed star centre looks like it's meant to be there.
